Privacy Policy

At Millionminds we take care of what you share with us. Here we explain what information we ask for, what we use it for and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

In short: your information is confidential. We use it only to handle what you ask of us or to provide the service you hire. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

1. Who is responsible

Millionminds is operated by Ana Victoria Lozano Rodríguez, an individual with business activity who uses Millionminds as a trade name, located at Galápagos 374, Col. Vista Hermosa, 64620, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. She is responsible for the processing of your personal data. If you have any privacy question, write to us at hola@millionminds.mx.

This policy applies to prospects, clients, collaborators, blog subscribers and anyone who visits our websites and tools.

2. What information we ask for

  • Contact: name, business or institution, job title, email and phone or WhatsApp number.
  • About your business: industry, goals, how you sell, average sale, customers or sales, revenue range, targets and the state of your brand and social media.
  • About your project (if you are a client): materials, communications and, if you decide to share them, access to accounts.
  • What we work on with you (if you are a client): the answers you give us in working sessions and in your portal, our notes and the documents we prepare for you (such as diagnostics and plans, in PDF or Excel) with their delivered versions.
  • Collaborators: your email and the tasks assigned to you, to give you access to your work page.
  • Tax and payment information (clients and collaborators): company or personal name, tax ID (RFC), tax address and details for charging or paying.
  • Browsing data: approximate IP address, device, browser and pages visited (section 6).
  • Blog: your email, if you subscribe.

Financial information. Your answers about average sale, sales, costs, expenses, debts, balances and targets (in the diagnostic, in working sessions or in your portal) may be considered financial data. You share them voluntarily and approximately, and we use them only to prepare your proposal, your diagnostic or your plan and see whether the project is viable. They are for internal use and we do not share them with anyone outside the service. We process them with your express consent (section 8).

We do not ask for sensitive data (such as personal health, ethnic origin, religion or ideology). Please do not send it.

3. What we use it for

Necessary (without them we cannot assist you):

  1. Contact you, reply to you and follow up on your request or diagnostic.
  2. Prepare and present proposals to you, and schedule calls.
  3. Contract, provide and manage the services, and maintain the relationship with clients and collaborators.
  4. Prepare, store and deliver your diagnostics, plans and strategy documents, and ask you through your portal for any missing information.
  5. Invoice, collect, pay and comply with our tax and legal obligations.
  6. Keep our websites secure and working.

Additional (not necessary to assist you):

  1. Produce internal statistics and improve our diagnostics, tools and services, always in anonymized form.
  2. Measure how our website and our campaigns perform (section 6).

If you do not want us to use your data for these additional purposes, write to us at hola@millionminds.mx with the subject "Additional purposes", at any time. Your request or your service will not be affected.

Blog. If you subscribe, we use your email only to send you new posts. We do not send promotions that way: those live only on our website. You can unsubscribe at any time, from any email or by writing to us.

4. How we protect your information

  • We treat it as confidential. Only the team and the collaborators who need it to assist you can access it, with confidentiality commitments and reasonable security measures, such as access restricted by account or key. Each collaborator sees only the sessions and tasks assigned to them.
  • We rely on providers that process data on our behalf, such as Google (spreadsheets, email and storage), Netlify (hosting for our portal and tools), Squarespace and Canva (or equivalents), which may store information outside Mexico. If the service you hire requires it (for example, campaigns on advertising platforms), we share only what is necessary and only for that purpose. We may also share data with authorities when the law requires it.
  • If a security breach occurs that significantly affects your rights, we will let you know as the law requires.
  • Third-party data and minors. If you share data about other people (for example, your clients, students or their families), you assure us that you are authorized to do so, and we use it only to provide you the service. We do not collect data from minors directly: in projects with schools, the authorization of parents or guardians to use the image or data of students belongs to the school and must be confirmed before using that material.

5. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO), withdraw your consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data. Write to us at hola@millionminds.mx with the subject "ARCO rights", or in writing to the address in section 1, and include:

  1. Your full name and a way to reply to you.
  2. A copy of a valid official ID, or the document that proves your representation.
  3. A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise.

We reply within the deadlines set by law. And we ask that the data you give us be true and up to date.

If you live in the United States, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may also have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. You can make any of these requests through the same email.

6. Cookies and measurement

Our website, www.millionminds.mx, may use measurement tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, in addition to Squarespace's own cookies. They help us understand how the site is used and measure the performance of our campaigns; they may collect browsing data and share it with Google and Meta, according to their policies. We use that information in aggregate form and only internally.

You can disable or delete cookies from your browser and manage personalized advertising in the ad preferences of your Google and Meta accounts. You can also change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of the page. Our forms do not use our own advertising cookies, and tools such as the KPIs Tool keep what you enter only on your device, without sending it to Millionminds.

7. How long we keep your data

If you hire us, we keep your data for as long as the service lasts and for the tax and legal periods that apply. If you do not hire us, we delete or anonymize the data from your diagnostic (including your financial information) 6 months after our last communication. For schools, colleges and academies it is 12 months, because their decisions follow the school year.

The working sessions for our diagnostic and strategy services (such as the business diagnostic or the brand strategy) are also anonymized 6 months after their last modification (12 months for schools, colleges and academies), as long as you no longer have an active service with us and unless a tax or legal obligation requires us to keep them. The same applies to the answers you leave in your portal, to the versions of the documents we deliver to you and to internal notices that mention your business: they are anonymized within those same periods once you no longer have an active service. The documents we deliver to you are yours and you can keep them.

If you are a client and use your portal, there you can see a list of your payments (description, date, status and amount) and let us know when you have paid. When you let us know, we store the payment date and the reference or comment you choose to write, to confirm your payment. Only you and our administration team see that information. We keep it for as long as the service lasts and for the tax and legal periods that apply.

You can also answer from your portal the questions we leave you to complete your diagnostic or your plan (for example, figures about your business or a link). Our team sees those answers and we use them only to prepare your deliverable.

8. Consent, changes and authority

By checking the consent box on our forms, by subscribing to the blog or by sharing your data with us by email, WhatsApp, phone call or contract, after having this notice available to you, you agree that we process your data as explained here, including the financial data you choose to share.

If we change this notice, we will publish it here, and if the purposes change we will ask for your consent again. If you feel your right to the protection of personal data has been violated, you can go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance), Mexico's authority on the matter.
